Session 2: The Engaged Researcher – on screen

A social media presence and a confident on-screen presentation style are the key to successful engagement these days. The session will focus on engagement through social media and will include a look at the practical use of social media to engage with audiences outside the academy, using Twitter, a blog and a website as examples/cases studies. We’ll then look at Presenting on Camera – including the content and techniques of on-screen delivery and the use of technology to achieve optimum results.
