Global Impact Day Volunteering Day
Description
Support local charities with challenges they face. Global Impact Day is a new initiative from the Lifelong Programmes team at the Rhodes Trust, where the community of the Rhodes Trust, and its partners, are invited to undertake a day of volunteering over the month of December to help support local and global charities and causes.
In Oxford, the Trust has connected with local charities and asked them to put forward challenges they are currently facing. On the volunteering day on Tuesday 6th December staff, current scholars and alumni will be invited to help these local charities by working in facilitated teams to come up with innovative solutions, ideas and methods which the charities can use to help further their cause.
The teams will work on the projects over three hours as below. Please register for the project you would like to support. All teams will be based in Milner Hall at Rhodes House. Lunch will be available from 12pm-1pm and is open to all those involved in the projects
