Part of the Lifelong Fellowship portfolio, LINK aims to connect local Rhodes Scholar alumni, broadening the global network and facilitating the sharing of ideas, knowledge and cultures.


The Rhodes Trust is delighted to invite all members of the Rhodes community who are based in, or visiting, the UK to the Oxford & Cambridge Club, for an evening of drinks and networking. There will be a short talk by Rhodes Scholar alumnus Nader Mousavizadeh, as well as opportunities to connect with fellow Rhodes Scholars over drinks and canapes.

The event is open to all Rhodes Scholar Alumni and Scholars in Residence. Please note you do not need to be a member of the Club to attend this event.

Oxford & Cambridge Club Dress Code

Gentlemen must wear a jacket and tie. Ladies are required to dress with commensurate formality. National and vocational dress is permitted. Shorts, t-shirts, training shoes, jeans and other similar casual wear are not permitted.


Nader Mousavizadeh (Denmark & Christ Church 1992)

Nader is the founding partner and CEO of Macro Advisory Partners. Nader has spent the past 20 years in leadership positions in global institutions at the intersection of geopolitics, policy and markets.


Prior to founding MAP, he was chief executive of Oxford Analytica (2000-2013), a leading global analysis and advisory firm. Previously, he was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, where he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group in New York and London.


Before entering the private sector, Nader served at the United Nations where he was special assistant to the executive office of UN secretary-general Kofi Annan from 1997-2003, and a UN political officer in Bosnia-Herzegovina.


Nader is a member of the global board of directors for the World Resources Institute. He is a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Future Council on Geopolitics and was elected by the WEF as a Global Leader for Tomorrow.
