Yumna Dagher

Biography

Yumna A. Dagher, Ann Arbor, graduated in 2025 from the University of Michigan, where she completed double majors in English and Environment and Sustainability. Her senior honors thesis in creative writing received numerous campus awards. She is currently a Dean’s Fellow at the University of Michigan, focused on implementing sustainability initiatives, and she also works with an arts alliance on establishing a neighborhood arts hub. While an undergraduate, Yumna was the program lead of the university’s sustainable food program. At Oxford, she intends to complete an M.Sc. in Nature, Society and Environmental Governance followed by an M.Sc. in Visual, Material and Museum Anthropology.
