Francesco Rahe

Biography

Francesco recently graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Fundamentals: Issues and Texts and Religious Studies. He is originally from Hillsdale, Michigan. At UChicago, he founded C.U.L.T. (Critical Understanding of Liturgies and Traditions), devoted to the academic study of religion as well as the increase of interfaith conversations. He has studied 6 languages, and hopes to become a literary translator of Persian and Sanskrit literature in the future. He has written for numerous student publications while at the University of Chicago, as well as interned for The Point Magazine. In his spare time, he also writes novels. At Oxford, he is pursuing an MPhil in Islamic Studies and History.
