Biography

After completing his undergraduate degree at Harvard College in 2017, Spencer Dunleavy pursued two master's degrees while in Oxford, one in Education (Research Design and Methodology) and another in Global Health Science and Epidemiology. In medical school at Columbia University, Spencer focused on how we use medical education to promote access and equity for underserved communities, serving as an Equity & Justice Fellow and as head instructor for a 220-person data science and health equity course. After completing his family medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2026, he will be an Assistant Professor and Vice Chair of Research at the Temple University Department of Family and Community Medicine, where he hopes to unite his interest of education, research, and clinical care to promote health equity for the community that raised him.
