Medicine and Faith: a career and a life with Dr Ben Doolittle
Description
Join Dr Benjamin Doolittle, MD, MA Div — Professor of Medicine (General Medicine), Pediatrics and Divinity, and Director of the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program at Yale School of Medicine — in-person or virtually for a career seminar exploring the intersection of religion, medicine, and human flourishing.
Dr Doolittle directs the Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program and serves as Medical Director of the Faculty-Resident Continuity Clinic. His clinical practice centres on addiction, Hepatitis C, HIV, and primary care, while his research explores the relationship between medicine, spirituality, wellness, and burnout. An ordained minister with an MDiv from Yale Divinity School, he also serves a local urban congregation — bringing a distinctive dual perspective to conversations about care, purpose, and resilience in medicine.
This session offers the opportunity to engage directly with Dr Doolittle, whether joining in person or virtually. A Zoom link for virtual attendees will be shared 24 hours before the session for attendees joining virutally.
