AARS: AI and National Security
Description
On June 30th, The Association of American Rhodes Scholars convenes four of the most consequential voices for a discussion on AI: a former National Security Advisor who architected the Biden administration's sweeping AI and technology strategy; the Chief Technology Officer of the UK's AI Security Institute and the British Prime Minister's AI adviser; a former CISA director who built America's civil cyber defense and now leads the world's largest cybersecurity community; and the former head of the Defense Innovation Unit who accelerated commercial AI into the hands of the warfighter. Together, they bring practitioner depth, institutional memory, and a shared obligation to public service to a conversation about a technology that is reshaping the world.
The panel will range from the technical to the strategic to the personal, with the hope that attendees will leave with greater clarity around what to do to “fight the world’s fight” in this moment.
