Description
Mr. Finkton has been working to uplift the most vulnerable communities in America and has a bold ambition to implement universal basic income. He is pushing for federal legislation guaranteeing a universal basic income at or above the federal poverty guidelines, he maintains that a universal basic income at the federal poverty guidelines (UBI@FPG) can end financial poverty. He is also an active venture capital investor with his EPMT (End Poverty. Make Trillions.) fund. The fund backs entrepreneurs from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds who are working to solve the pressing problems facing their communities.
This is a hybrid event, taking place both in the Rosebery room and via Zoom. Scholars in Residence and Alumni are welcome to attend.
