A venue for all occasions

Rhodes House offers a stunning setting for film and photo shoot location hire in the heart of Oxford. This iconic Grade II* listed building, designed by renowned architect Sir Herbert Baker, boasts memorable architecture and original period features. Rich in history, Rhodes House exudes a distinctive atmosphere that seamlessly combines timeless charm with modern elegance.

Individual rooms within Rhodes House are available for location hire, or all commercial spaces can be hired on a ‘whole House’ basis.

Rooms full of character

The McCall MacBain Hall features a soaring barrel-vaulted ceiling and a raised bay window with south-facing stone-mullioned windows. The Arts & Crafts style of the Beit and Reception Rooms offer warm oak-panelled walls, exposed beams, and views across the gardens. The Glass Pavilion is a unique glass room surrounded by the colourful garden.

Outdoor locations

The Rhodes House Gardens have a lovely courtyard, spacious lawn, and colourful herbaceous border running along the golden Cotswold stone wall. The gardens are south facing and enjoy plenty of sunshine throughout the day.
