Samuel Goldberg

Biography

Sam graduated from the University of Sydney in 2023 with Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (History, French). He is a keen sportsman, an accomplished cook and an aspiring (read: not-so-accomplished) musician and cheesemaker. He spent much of his time at university working in organisations which used the law to promote better health and educational outcomes in marginalised communities. His focus is on the use of law as a tool for political agency, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of private law and fundamental rights. He currently works as a Tipstaff (judicial assistant, researcher, coffee-maker) to a judge of the New South Wales Court of Appeal.
