Biography

Originally from St. John’s, Jane is an Analyst with Delottie’s Financial Advisory practice working within Mergers & Acquisitions. She is a D&R Sobey Atlantic Scholar and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Smith School of Business, Queen’s University. Jane is interested in rural development, sustainability, and economic resilience for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. In partnership with Smith’s Community Revitalization Research Program and Mitacs, Jane researched community custodianship focused on Tilting, Newfoundland and Labrador. Jane has been heavily involved in her school and community, serving on the Smith Commerce Society as an Advisory Board Director, leading Queen’s students on economic development trips to South America, and sharing her passion for music and theatre with others. Jane aspires to be an Economic Diplomat and Elected Official and hopes to pursue a MSt in Diplomatic Studies and a MSc in Financial Economics at Oxford.
