Alexis Kallen

Biography

Alexis L. Kallen graduated from Stanford University in 2018 with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Human Rights, and Spanish. A strong advocate against campus sexual assault, Alexis led a team to pave, light, and improve security around residential areas of campus to deter sexual assault. Alexis was also the chair of Stanford in Government, a freshman RA, and Stanford's 127th Convocation Speaker. While at Stanford, she was awarded the Harry S. Truman Scholarship and the Lloyd W. Dinkelspiel Award. Alexis then went to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar from 2018 to 2020, where she pursued a Master's in Development Studies. Within the Rhodes community, she served as the co-president of Rhodes Women and the co-founder of the Rhodes Disability Project. She then attended Yale Law School, graduating in 2023. At Yale, she served as an Articles Editor for the Yale Law Journal, worked in the San Francisco Affirmative Litigation Project and the Veterans Legal Services Clinic, and served as a research assistant for multiple professors. She then worked as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington, D.C., before clerking for Judge James E. Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and subsequently Judge Srikanth Srinivasan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
