Sherona Forrester

Biography

Sherona Forrester is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI Mona), with a BSc in Economics and Statistics with First Class Honours (2013) and with an MSc in Economics with distinction (2015). She is an award winning scholar and lecturer from Clarendon, Jamaica.

Since her days at the Glenmuir High School, Sherona has demonstrated an interdisciplinary and well-rounded approach to her development with equally passionate and impressive performances in academic study, leadership, music and sports. She has represented the UWI Mona in football, netball, basketball and a variety of other sports (as team captain). She is also a member of the Reggae Girlz- the Jamaica National Senior Women's Football team. Sherona is an award winning vocalist and co-founder of the Jamaica Youth Chorale who continues to impact the lives of many young people through her church and university activities.
