Your Annual Giving is vital to sustaining and further enhancing the Rhodes Scholarships. Your gift will provide immediate impact and support for the Rhodes Scholars in Oxford today. There are many ways to give. We hope you will choose the one that is right for you.

Your Annual Giving will help to finance a portion of current costs and further enhance the Scholarship with the activities that make the global Rhodes community so special. The fastest way to make a gift is to do so online.

Rhodes Scholars and friends of the Trust who are US taxpayers can make full tax-deductible gifts for the benefit of the Rhodes Scholarships at any time during the year through one of two 501(c)(3) organisations under the US Internal Revenue Code:  Americans for Oxford, Inc. (AFO) or the American Trust for Oxford (ATFO). To ensure tax efficiency and the necessary tax receipt, donations must be channelled through one of these organisations rather than sent directly to the Rhodes Trust in Oxford.

It is sometimes possible to double or even triple the impact of your donation if your employer has a matched giving scheme in place. This can easily be checked by searching our list of U.S. companies which participate in this scheme. The matched giving form should be sent to the same 501(c)(3) as your original gift, which will be either Americans for Oxford (AFO) or the American Trust for Oxford (ATFO).

The Rhodes Trust welcomes major gift commitments that can be paid over a number of years. Donors may specify an unrestricted gift to the Trust’s endowment or designate their contributions in support of specific programmes, initiatives or Scholarships.
