SAARS Annual Bon Voyage & Conference – 31 August 2024
SAARS hosted the 10th Annual Bon Voyage and Alumni Conference at the Wits Club in Johannesburg on Saturday, 31 August 2024. The Rhodes Scholars-Elect (2024) from South Africa, Namibia (Bertha Tobias), Zimbabwe (Brendon Mahere and Nyasha Mukonoweshuro) and China (Xiang Chen) met up with Rhodes alumni from across the decades at this event. The organising committee, Lisa Klein and Mari Rabie, crafted a wonderful programme of speakers who covered diverse and interesting topics.
