Rhodes Scholars from across seven decades gathered at Olives & Plates (Empire Place) in Sandton for the annual Bon Voyage & Welcome Home Dinner on 08 September 2022. It was a very happy evening, at which Alumni reconnected with old friends, welcomed home recently returned Rhodes Scholars, and celebrated the Rhodes Scholars-Elect of 2022, who departed for Oxford on 23 September. SA-at-Large Scholar-Elect Justin Winchester introduced the new cohort to the assembled Scholars; and recently returned Scholar, Nomfundo Ramalekana (SA-at-Large & Lady Margaret Hall 2015) reflected on her journey and coming home.
