Biography
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Philosophy from the University of Sydney in 2017. His thesis examined competing egalitarian justifications for Australia's National Disability Insurance Scheme. He received the University Medal in Philosophy and the John Anderson Prize for the best Philosophy Honours thesis. During his time at University, Michael was the President of the University of Sydney Union and an editor of the student newspaper Honi Soit. He currently works at Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and is looking to develop his understanding of public policy during his time at Oxford.
