Biography
Liam Stuart Elbourne is a senior at St Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada where he is pursuing a BBA Joint Honours in Business & Economics. His research, which was published in Economics Letters in 2018, found a link between low precipitation and the assassinations of Roman Emperors. Away from the classroom, Liam has been both a captain of his university's varsity soccer program and president of the StFX German Society for the last three years. He has also taken a leading role in involving university students in conversations about consent and sexualized violence by facilitating workshops in university residences and speaking at public events. At Oxford, Liam intends to pursue studies in economics.
