Biography
Laura Klüner earned a BSc in Physics at Ruhr-University Bochum, where she is currently pursuing a medical degree in parallel to both a MSc in Medical Physics and her doctoral thesis (Dr. med.) in medicine. At Oxford, Laura will read for a DPhil in Medical Science. Though she plans to return to Germany to complete her residency in radiology, Laura enjoys the process of discovering new research applications in medical imaging and wants to further international cooperation in medical translational research. She is passionate about educational equality and ultimately plans to establish a foundation which would provide equal access to international research opportunities and internships regardless of students' socioeconomic backgrounds. In addition to her academic work, Laura is an accomplished pianist and ballet dancer.
