Jordan English

Biography

Jordan graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and was awarded a University Medal in Law. Jordan is a current Bachelor of Civil Law candidate at the University of Oxford. An Indigenous lawyer, Jordan has worked at an international law firm and was a Judge's Associate to the Honourable Justice James Edelman on the High Court of Australia while teaching at the Australian National University. He has published in several domestic and international journals and is currently writing a manuscript for a text on the law of tracing to be published by Federation Press. Jordan aims to be a role model and mentor for young Indigenous Australians seeking to enter and progress through the legal profession.
