Biography

I work as the Programme Manager for African Energy Transition at Power Shift Africa, a Nairobi-based climate and energy policy think tank. My work and research focuses on how to achieve an African renewable energy transition which not only tackles climate change but also the intersecting crises of energy access and outdated and extractive development models. We work to put African communities, movements, and experts at the center of driving Africa's energy and development future. I hold an MSc in Environmental Change and Management and a Master of Public Policy (with distinction) from the University of Oxford, and a BCom in Economics and Law and a BCom (Hons) in Economics (with distinction) from the University of Cape Town.
