Arisha Khan

Biography

Arisha Khan studies health and social policy at McGill University. Her experiences navigating the child welfare system as a young person have made her passionate about ensuring that vulnerable youth are aware of their rights and that the policies and programs serving them reflect their realities. Arisha is currently Vice-President of Youth in Care Canada, a national charitable organization that supports youth in and from state care. She previously served as an adviser to the Premier of Ontario, and on the policy team responsible for reforming Ontario's child and youth mental health system. At Oxford, she will be undertaking doctoral studies, examining cross-sectoral collaborations between health and social service systems to address the health needs of children and youth in state care.
