Xiao Mao

Biography

Xiao holds an LLM from University College London with distinction, and an LLB (with distinction) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She is doing an MSc on International Criminal and Criminology at VU Amsterdam and serving as a Research Associate at Public International Law and Policy Group, a Research Intern at Center for International Criminal Justice and an editor for Amsterdam Law Forum. She previously worked for an international law NGO based in China and the Hague, and at the Center for Tokyo Trial Studies. She published several peer-reviewed academic articles and made presentations at academic symposiums in Chinese and English. Her research and study were sponsored by VUFP/Orange Tulip Scholarship, National Scholarship, KoGuan Scholarship and Chun-Tsung Scholarship.
