Biography
Matthew Chun, Arlington, is a senior at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, pursuing a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and Management Science. His GPA is 5.0 (on a 5.0 scale). Matthew researches the impact of intellectual property law on innovation and has worked as a patent technology specialist. He leads a team that is designing the first prosthetic rotational adapter intended specifically for above-knee amputees in the developing world. Matthew intends to build on his experience as a practitioner of innovation to shape international technology policy. The captain of MIT's wrestling team, Matthew also serves as Philanthropy Chair of the Mass Beta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, the oldest engineering honor society in the United States.
