Biography
Dylan Barry completed a BSc with distinction in Economics and Physics, and is currently completing an Honours degree focused on theoretical physics at the University of the Witwatersrand. In the context of South Africa's #FeesMustFall protests, Dylan has written extensively on the challenges facing South African higher education. Dylan contributed to the 2017 UNESCO Global Education Monitoring Youth Report and is currently a Youth Ambassador for the associated campaign. When not debating policy Dylan runs up mountains and through forests. He represented South Africa at the 2015 Junior World Orienteering Championships in Norway. Dylan is also an aspiring cartoonist, writer and jazz musician.
