Biography
Shakeba holds a BSc with first class honours in Banking and Finance and an MSc with distinction, in Economics. She was awarded the best Undergraduate Performance and Best Overall Performance in the Banking and Finance programme, was recognized as the first year student with the highest GPA in the Faculty of Social Sciences at UWI and received the Pan Caribbean Scholarship. She has worked on many research projects and was recognized for the Best Economics student paper at Southwestern Social Sciences Association (SSSA) Annual Conference 2016. Shakeba is currently a lecturer at the University of the West Indies and holds numerous leadership positions within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Jamaica, Inc. organization. She is known for her amiable personality, integrity, passion for teaching and leadership abilities.
