Biography

Léo Bureau-Blouin is a student in the Faculty of Law at Laval University. He was president of the Quebec Federation of cegep students during Quebec's student strike in 2012 which mobilised thousands of students who protested for affordable higher education. After his student engagement, he was elected as a member of the National assembly with the Parti Quebecois at the age of 20. He then became the youngest member of parliament in the history of Quebec. He served as member of parliament and parliamentary assistant for the Prime Minister for youth issues from 2012 to 2014. His main fields of interests are politics, youth engagement and law.
