Hamel Al Qubaisi

Biography

Hamel is a senior student at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) studying Political Science. He also spent a semester at NYU London and NYU New York. While at NYU's global network sites, he conducted research for the UAE Embassy in London and the Crown Prince Court in Abu Dhabi, and also served as the first Emirati President of the Student Government. His senior thesis focuses on the effectiveness of UAE foreign aid and hopes to continue his research on the UAE at Oxford. Longer-term, Hamel aspires to contribute to the future sustainable development of his country by serving as part of its diplomatic corps.
