Geoffrey Yeung

Biography

Geoffrey graduated from the Bachelor of Business Administration / Bachelor of Laws double-degree programme at The University of Hong Kong. Outside studies, he is passionate towards human rights, social justice and civil society. In particular, he has held office in a number of LGBTQ rights organisations in Hong Kong. His advocacy efforts has spanned from research projects to political lobbying, and from the local legislature to international human rights treaty bodies. He aspires to become a human rights lawyer in Hong Kong, to advance civil rights and liberties, as well as to continue to stand with various disadvantaged and marginalized groups in making their voices heard in society. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and has an appetite for street food, music and films.
