Subhashish Bhadra

Biography

Subhashish completed his degree last year, winning the BD Gupta Economics Prize and ranked amongst the highest scorers in his school-leaving exam and the Common Admission Test (CAT). This year he is working for McKinsey and Co on a research project exploring inclusive growth in India. The experience has fuelled his passion for economics and deepened his knowledge of India's social problems. Whilst at St Stephen's, Subhashish founded Absolute Interview which gives advice and assistance to students, irrespective of background, helping to give them an equal chance of admissions and jobs through CV-restructuring and interview guidance. For relaxation, Subhashish writes - novels, short stories and poetry - and enjoys public speaking. Longer-term, through the academic study of economics, Subhashish aspires to design and implement new welfare policies in India.
