Ashwin Menon

Biography

Ashwin is in the final year of his Bachelor of Engineering. He has loved the discipline of computer science since he was a young boy, and enjoyed teaching himself animation, web design and interactive programming in Python. Ashwin has had a long career already in swimming, winning Silver with the Indian Team at the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2008. He has travelled extensively to participate in the Asian Swimming Championships, FINA World Aquatic Champions, and the World University Games. Alongside his academic career, he has spent 6-8 hours per day training in swimming, leaving little time for other pursuits. Long-term, Ashwin hopes to pursue his love of computer science, in the arena of cyber security, contributing to the future protection of individuals and societies.
