We're happy to help, find the most frequently asked questions below:
Can Rhodes House help me find accommodation?
Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodation over the course of the weekend. Click here to see a list of recommended hotels and B&BS around Oxford. Please also contact your college to inquire about their availability for the weekend.
What is the dress code for the weekend?
The dress code for the anniversary is smart casual, and for the celebratory dinner on the Saturday it is business.
Will there be childcare available?
Yes, complimentary childcare is available each day of the weekend until 10.00pm. Childcare must be booked in advance and parents will need to submit a signed consent form and return to the Trust ahead of the event.
Before the event, we need to know:
- The number of children who will require care
- Age of child/(children)
- Times that childcare will be needed
- Allergies/dietary restrictions
- Anything else which those responsible for childcare should be aware of
Email this information to firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of our team will get back to you with a consent form.
Do I need to inform Rhodes House if I have dietary requirements?
Yes, this is especially important in relation to the celebratory dinner on the Saturday evening. If you have not done so already, let us know on email@example.com if you have any specific requirements which should be taken into account.
Where can I find the programme for the weekend?
The programme is available to view here (please note that the programme may be subject to changes over the coming weeks)
Who is attending?
Please find the downloadable list of registered participants here.
Is Rhodes House wheelchair friendly?
Rhodes House is fully wheelchair-accessible with a lift allowing access to all of the programmed sessions.
Can I still buy guest tickets?
The weekend is at full capacity and unfortunately we cannot process any further registrations for Scholars’ guests. We are doing our best to accommodate as many Rhodes Women as possible, and are therefore prioritising Rhodes Women on the waiting list.
I have to cancel, can I get a refund?
If you cancel by 25 August 2017 you will get a full refund for your ticket. All cancellations after that date will not be refunded. In any case, please let us know if you need to cancel on firstname.lastname@example.org, as this will help other participants currently on the waiting list to get a ticket.
