  • Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodation over the course of the weekend. Click here to see a list of recommended hotels and B&BS around Oxford. Please also contact your college to inquire about their availability for the weekend.

  • The dress code for the anniversary is smart casual, and for the celebratory dinner on the Saturday it is business.

  • Yes, complimentary childcare is available each day of the weekend until 10.00pm. Childcare must be booked in advance and parents will need to submit a signed consent form and return to the Trust ahead of the event.

    Before the event, we need to know:

    • The number of children who will require care
    • Age of child/(children)
    • Times that childcare will be needed
    • Allergies/dietary restrictions
    • Anything else which those responsible for childcare should be aware of

  • Yes, this is especially important in relation to the celebratory dinner on the Saturday evening. If you have not done so already, let us know on 40yearsrhodeswomen@rhodeshouse.ox.ac.uk if you have any specific requirements which should be taken into account.

  • The programme is available to view here (please note that the programme may be subject to changes over the coming weeks)

  • Rhodes House is fully wheelchair-accessible with a lift allowing access to all of the programmed sessions. 

  • The weekend is at full capacity and unfortunately we cannot process any further registrations for Scholars’ guests. We are doing our best to accommodate as many Rhodes Women as possible, and are therefore prioritising Rhodes Women on the waiting list.

  • If you cancel by 25 August 2017 you will get a full refund for your ticket. All cancellations after that date will not be refunded. In any case, please let us know if you need to cancel on 40yearsrhodeswomen@rhodeshouse.ox.ac.uk, as this will help other participants currently on the waiting list to get a ticket.
