- 9:00am - 11:00pm
2017 is a year of celebration. We are highlighting the wonderful achievements of Rhodes Women around the world through a series of events, including at a weekend at Rhodes House in September. We hope to have female Scholars from all years since 1977 and from all Rhodes constituencies.
- Inspiring speakers
- Opportunities to connect with classmates and current Scholars
- Empower through sharing experiences and stories
- Stand up for women's causes from around the world
- Give back to the community
- Engage in mentorship
- Explore the passion projects and creativity of Rhodes women
- Discussions from women in cutting edge sectors
Would you like to be considered for a talk or panel discussion at the event? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a short description of what your proposed topic would be or what area of expertise you would bring to a discussion. Creative ideas are encouraged!
Regardless of whether or not you can attend the September event, we encourage all Rhodes women to:
- Engage with #40YearsRhodesWomen on social media.
- Email a photograph of yourself and a short recollection from your time as a Scholar or subsequent life to email@example.com
- Join the Rhodes Scholar Network discussion group called ‘Rhodes Women Group’ and connect to Scholars around the world.

We would like to initiate a fund to assist a number of Scholars in financing their trip to Oxford for this weekend. If you are interested in contributing to this purpose, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Based on the amount made available to the community, the 40 Years of Rhodes Women Committee will assign an amount to those Scholars who apply for assistance to attend the celebrations. Please note that the number of cases we will be able to support will depend on the total raised.
Delegates are responsible for organising their own accommodation, and we would encourage you to do so early since this event is occurring during the University of Oxford Alumni weekend. A list of Oxford hotels can be found here.
If you have any questions or difficulties booking this event, please contact: email@example.com
