Join us for the first event in our Climate Change series- A chat with Dan Esty on Deep Decarbonisation, the Zero Carbon Action Plan & COP26
Join the Climate Change Group on Rhodes Connect for pre and post event discussion:
In this session, Dan Esty (Massachusetts & Balliol 1981) will be discussing with a Scholar in Residence moderator potential pathways to make deep decarbonisation and the transition to net zero a reality. Dan will deliberate what the US-UK Build back better plan means for climate change, and the role that corporations and trade play in climate related decisions. With COP26 about to begin, these conversations come at a crucial time as we explore action plans and ways out of humanity's greatest crisis.
- Dan Esty (Massachusetts & Balliol 1981), Hillhouse Professor at Yale University, Director of the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy, and Co-Director of the Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance.
