AARS - Urgency of Now 'Addressing Inequities in Education'

  • Zoom
  • 16:00 EST / 21:00 GMT

Education plays a pivotal role in our lives, workplaces, and communities and yet, structural, and systematic racial inequities persist.

Given our community is united in our shared educational experience at the University of Oxford, the Association of American Rhodes Scholars (AARS) Urgency of Now Task Force would be remiss if we did not address inequities in education during our virtual panel series. As such, we have invited five scholars who are educators, education leaders, and education policy experts to discuss the challenges and approaches for advancing equity and inclusion in all levels of education.

We hope you can join us for this virtual panel discussion featuring Rachel Pfeifer, Dacia Toll, Raymond Burse, Robert Fisher, and Anea Moore on Sunday February 28th at 4pm (EST). At the end of the event, we will share one concrete way AARS’ volunteers have worked to address institutional inequities and how you may become involved.
