Join fellow Rhodes Scholars for the first Rhodes Open Skype Night!

“Music has healing power. It has the ability to take people out of themselves for a few hours.”

In the spirit of these words from Elton John, we believe that music and the arts can support our community to stay connected and help us to deal with an unprecedented crisis. Therefore, Rhodes Arts together with the Rhodes Scholar Africa Forum (RSAF) have organised a unique digital event.

Everyone is invited to share their talents via a webcam or a microphone as a performer or just join to watch and listen to our digital show. Apart from wonderful performances, we will also give everybody the opportunity to have a chat in the intermission in breakout rooms.

Since we have such a diverse and international community, we would especially encourage performances presenting various cultures and traditions of music and art. Every talent which you would like to share is warmly welcomed!

During this event, RSAF will provide an opportunity for scholar donations that will be directed towards Covid-19 support in Africa. More details about the donations will be distributed closer to the date.
