Friday 20 September
12.00-13.00: Welcoming Lunch for Class of 1969
13.00 – 14.00: Registration and welcome session
14.00-16.00: Experience of the Character, Service and Leadership Program for current Rhodes Scholars; “Relations, Friendships and Mentors”
16.15-17.15: Conversation with the Warden, Dr. Elizabeth Kiss (Virginia & Balliol 1983), alongside the 40th Reunion Class
19.00 – 22.00: Dinner at Rhodes House for 40th and 50th Reunion Class, joined by current Rhodes Scholars; Remarks by Dr Elizabeth Kiss and Class Leaders
22.00: Nightcap drinks at The Kings Arms/The Turf Tavern etc.
Saturday 21 September
9.00-10.00: Breakfast at Rhodes House and reminiscences / remembrances of those who have died
10.00-16.30: Oxford’s “Meeting Minds” programme for the Oxford alumni weekend, which includes lectures, tours and hands-on activities across the city, followed by College dinners in the evening. For more information and to book tickets follow this link (released by Oxford University on July 11th)
10.00 – 16.30: Rhodes House All Alumni Informal Garden Party – to include a BBQ buffet and “In Conversation with…” Dr Elizabeth Kiss. A separate crèche will be provided to facilitate Scholars access to attend the academic talks at the University.
19.00-21.30: Most Colleges will be hosting a formal dinner – please see your individual colleges for further information
18.00-20.30: Drinks Reception and Finger Buffet for those not dining in
their Colleges at New College
21.30: Nightcap drinks at The Kings Arms/The Turf Tavern etc
Sunday 22 September
10.00-15.30: Oxford’s “Meeting Minds” program continues for those not travelling
12.00: Onward travel
Please register for the events you are attending by Monday 2 September and mention if you have any dietary or access requirements. Guests are very welcome but must also register.
