Outlook for the World Economy with Peter Sinclair
After reading PPE at Corpus, Peter Sinclair was briefly at Nuffield, and then, for nearly 24 years, fellow and tutor in economics at Brasenose College. In 1994, Dr Sinclair moved to the chair in Economics at Birmingham, where, although now emeritus, he continues to lecture and supervise. With others or alone, he has edited or author of over 15 books on various aspects of economic theory and policy. He is a member of the Economic Experts Working Group at the Office of National Statistics, and a vice president of the Money Macro and Finance Research Group. He chaired the Royal Economic Society's Easter School for 22 years. At the Bank of England, he has served as director of the Centre for Central Banking Studies and Houblon Norman research fellow.
