Jen Howitt Browning (California & St John’s 2005) is an expert in disability-inclusive development and sport for social change. A Paralympic gold medalist in wheelchair basketball, she spent eight years working for the international charity Motivation developing programmes to empower disabled people in low-income countries through sport and peer support activities. Since leaving Motivation (and retiring from competition), she has started a career in sports governance and is currently leading the Welsh governing body for canoeing and kayaking, where she is working to promote inclusive outdoor recreation.
