Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Rhodes Women

Join Rhodes Trustee, Dame Helen Ghosh, for an intimate discussion on leadership. Dame Helen will share her experience of leadership in the public and NGO sectors, and shed insight into how an understanding of your essential personality is key to sanity and success.

Master of Balliol College from April 2018. Director-General of the National Trust, 2012-2018. Education: BA (Modern History), St Hugh's College, Oxford; MLitt (6th century Italian history), Hertford College, Oxford. Permanent Secretary, UK Home Office, 2011-2012. Permanent Secretary, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, 2005-10. Chairman of the Blackfriars Overseas Aid Trust since 1999. Before that, a variety of posts in local government finance, housing, urban regeneration, the Cabinet Office (including the Efficiency Unit and the Machinery of Government Secretariat), and HM Revenue and Customs. Served since March 2011.
