Bram Fischer Memorial 2016 by Justice Catherine O’Regan
The 2016 Bram Fischer lecture started with a conversation with Ms Ruth Rice & Ms Ilse Fischer Wilson, daughters of Bram Fischer. The speaker, Justice Catherine O’Regan was appointed as judge to the newly formed South African Constitutional Court in 1994. She spoke about Fidelity to Law: How Bram Fischer Illuminates a Perennial Debate.

Rhodes Portrait Unveiling of Lucy Banda-Sichone
Lucy Banda Sichone (Zambia & Somerville 1978) was a human rights activist and educator. In 1978, she was selected as Zambia’s first female Rhodes Scholar. Her portrait was the first portrait of a woman to be displayed in Milner Hall, Rhodes House.
