Rhodes Scholars Annual Fund

Every element of the Rhodes Scholar experience is strengthened by the Annual Fund. Your generosity and financial support create valuable opportunities and provide immediate impact for Scholars in Oxford and beyond. Give to strengthen and celebrate your Rhodes community.

What Does My Gift Support?

The Rhodes Scholars Annual Fund is a vital source of regular income that seeks £1 million each year to finance a portion of current Scholar costs and to further enhance the Scholar experience. Annual gifts have immediate impact, making them an essential complement to the Trust’s endowment, which is invested for the long term.

The Annual Fund is your primary vehicle for giving in support of the Scholarships. Gifts create opportunities to support top priorities like the Character, Service & Leadership Programme, global outreach, Scholar financial support and intergenerational convening and alumni connectivity. It seeks to provide the margin of excellence needed to maintain the Scholarships at the forefront of scholarships and other leadership development programmes.

Every gift to the Rhodes Scholars Annual Fund – no matter the size – makes a difference in the lives of Scholars. Your participation matters.

Annual Giving Progress

More than half of all living Scholars and many leading philanthropists and foundations have supported the Trust to date with over £250 million of new funding so far this decade.

The Rhodes Scholars Annual Fund runs on a 1 July – 30 June financial year. Each year we focus on Scholar Giving in May and June as the 30 June is the last giving date which allows Scholars to be acknowledged in our Honour Roll for that financial year.
