The essay work in Political Science helped Tania write and publish her Honours thesis on “Comparing classical and quantum PageRanks.” Before graduating as the most outstanding Honours student in the School of Physics, she was event photographer throughout her residence at St. Catherine’s College, and served as Vice President of Overseas Christian Fellowship Perth. Tania then swam against the brain-drain tide to serve her country. She is research officer to a Malaysian Member of Parliament, and was a key contributor to the Opposition’s Alternative Budget 2017. To further her commitment towards bringing up Malaysia’s capacity to think and talk about policy issues beyond partisan squabbles, she intends to do a MSc in Comparative Social Policy and a Master of Public Policy.
