Keitumetse-Kabelo Murray completed an Honours in International Relations, cum lade, at the University of the Witwatersrand. Throughout his time at WITS he served on the Student Representative Council as the Social and Community Development Officer. Whilst on SRC, he focused on tackling food insecurity on campus, a passion which then developed into his field of research. Situated in Joubert Park, his research tackled issues of poverty, inequality and food insecurity. His love for theatre and film resulted in his participation in various plays and film projects as well as the foundation (in conjunction with friends) of the WITS Film Society. He is an avid sportsperson and has rowed for his University first team and played basketball in seconds. He is a third generation Rhodes Scholars and hopes to continue his studies with an MPhil in International Relations at Oxford.
