Gauri is a final year student of law, and will graduate in 2017. Her primary interests lie in the intersection of law, health and gender. During her internships with the Alternative Law Forum (Bangalore) and Lawyers Collective (Delhi), she examined the legal framework governing health care for women. She is keen on exploring the use of law as a tool to address gender disparity in health care and envisages a career combining academic research and legal practice to shape laws in their making. At NUJS, she serves as Editor of the NUJS Law Review. She enjoys mooting, and has participated in and coached teams representing her University at national and international moots. She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. At Oxford, she plans to read the BCL with a special focus on human rights law.
