Leah S. Michalove, Atlanta, is a senior at Emory University where she majors in Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies, and minors in Anthropology. Following a semester in Morocco, she is writing her senior thesis on young Moroccans’ self-identity in an increasingly interconnected world. She is active in theater at Emory as an artistic director and production manager. Leah chairs the Emory J Street U and represents Emory regionally and nationally at conferences relating to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She is a tutor in both Hebrew and Arabic and has been active in Georgia political campaigns. She plans to do the M.Phil. in Social Anthropology at Oxford.
