Debi is a student at the University of Pennsylvania, Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business who will graduate in May 2016 with a B.A., International Studies and a B.S., Economics (The Wharton School). She intends to pursue an M.Sc. in Social Anthropology and a Master of Public Policy while at Oxford University. While in college, Debi has been active in debating, setting multiple new records for her university and organizing their annual tournament. She has also been active in minority outreach, teaching financial literacy in West Philadelphia high schools and conducting research both in Nigeria with women micro-entrepreneurs and in South Africa on post-colonial violence against Rastafarians. Debi has also worked on the World Bank's Ideas for Action initiative and for McKinsey & Company in New York. Her chosen career involves ameliorating the socio-economic conditions of disadvantaged minorities, beginning in Canada.
