Logan is a PhD student with the Machine Learning Research Group. He is using artificial intelligence to study and create computational tools for economics. Logan has a lifelong history of engagement in social causes. Before he was 10 he co-founded the Children’s Arthritis Foundation to help other children living with juvenile arthritis. During university he co-founded Yunus&Youth, a global online social entrepreneurship fellowship, as well as Awake Labs, a successful biomedical startup. Logan aspires to combine technology and business to solve large social challenges. At Oxford he rows for Balliol College, directs the Rhodes China Forum, and writes on artificial intelligence and economic philosophy.
