Daniel is a senior at Cornell majoring in philosophy and minoring in South Asian studies. He spent last spring semester in Nepal conducting research for his senior thesis on the social activism on Dalit (“untouchable”) castes. His work in philosophy is focused on the intersection of normative ethics and political theory. Daniel is active in the Cornell prison education program, offering liberal arts courses to men in maximum and medium security prisons. He is also active in Cornell’s outdoor education program and sings with the Cornell glee club.
